"Belvoir Terrace was such an amazing experience for Angelique. It was her first time at sleep-away camp and her first time being away from home for such a long period of time. I had my doubts about sending her at first, but I was put at ease once we had a chance to speak with Belvoir Director, Diane. She answered all our questions and throughout the enrollment process, Diane and the Belvoir staff were always readily available to assist us. They made the enrollment process seamless.

I could not hear enough praises about Belvoir from Angie. From the community to the great staff and teachers, as well as the friends she made during her time there. She loves theater and was beyond excited about being on stage and acting. Acting is her safe place, where she feels most herself and the opportunity to be a part of several plays at Belvoir was such a joy for her.  Belvoir also opened up her interest in other areas such as ceramic and fiber arts. Our home is decorated with all the ceramic projects from summer camp.  Angelique left home in the summer of 2022 as a young curious 13-year-old and returned 6 weeks later exuding more confidence, maturity, and independence. The overall experience at Belvoir Terrace is one that Angie will not soon forget. She came home from camp talking about her plans to return for the Summer of 2023.

I am so grateful to Belvoir Terrace and the Edna Y. Schwartz Scholarship Fund for giving Angie this fantastic opportunity and we are looking forward to being part of the Belvoir community come next year."
